Step into a welcoming and relaxed environment tailored specifically for neurodivergent young adults aged 18 to 25. Whether you bring your own craft project or join the monthly themed activity, there is something for everyone. Supplies and inspiration for the themed projects are provided to spark creativity and connection.
This club encourages self-expression and social interaction in a supportive setting, making it a perfect opportunity for young adults to explore their creativity alongside peers who understand their unique needs.
The club meets monthly on the third Saturday from 13:00 to 15:00. Each session offers a chance to work on personal projects or participate in a group theme, with all materials supplied for themed activities. Participants can also vote on or suggest future themes via the club’s Instagram page.
Bookings are appreciated to ensure adequate resources and space. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible, with wheelchair access and accommodations available upon request.
The craft club is held in the Community Room at St Kilda Library, providing a comfortable and accessible venue. The library is part of the Port Phillip Library Service, located in a community-friendly area with easy access to public transport and parking.
All sessions are wheelchair accessible, and the organisers encourage participants to communicate any additional accessibility needs to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Participants should book their spots in advance to help organisers prepare sufficient materials and space. The club welcomes neurodivergent individuals aged 18 to 25 and fosters an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable and supported.
For updates, theme suggestions, and voting, follow the club’s Instagram @neurodivergentcraftclub. If you require special accommodations, contact the library ahead of time.
Attendance is free, but booking is required to secure your place and ensure enough supplies. Reservations can be made via the provided booking link on the library’s website or by contacting the library directly.
This no-cost event offers a valuable creative outlet and social opportunity for neurodivergent young adults in the community.
