This engaging program connects young mentors from South Sydney High School with senior community members to boost digital literacy. It's a supportive environment where participants can learn to confidently use iPads, iPhones, and computers.
Over six weeks, attendees will develop practical skills tailored to their own devices, enhancing their ability to navigate technology in everyday life. The sessions encourage interaction, questions, and hands-on learning.
Parents can feel assured their children will be part of a meaningful community initiative that fosters intergenerational learning and empowerment.
The course runs every Monday from 18 May to 29 June 2026, excluding 8 June due to a public holiday. Each session is one hour long, from 14:00 to 15:00.
Participants only need to register once to attend all six sessions. It is essential to bring your own device to fully benefit from the program.
The program is free for library members, and spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra.

Bookings open on Monday 20 April at 09:30 and must be made online through Eventbrite. Library membership is free and required to attend.
