Step into the world of coffee making with this engaging Youth Barista Course designed for teens aged 13 to 17. Whether your child dreams of crafting the perfect latte or simply wants to learn a new skill, this course offers a fun and practical introduction to barista techniques.
Throughout the session, participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, ensuring they understand the art and science behind great coffee. By the end, each teen will receive a certificate recognizing their new skills and accomplishments.

The course runs over two days with two separate sessions: Thursday, 16 April 2026 from 10:00 to 13:00, and Friday, 17 April 2026 from 13:00 to 16:00. Each session lasts three hours and is held at the Settlement Roasting Collective warehouse in Somerton Park.
Participants will be guided through coffee theory, machine operation, and practical barista skills. The course fee is $50 per participant, and booking is essential as spaces are limited and the event is currently booked out.
A waitlist is available for future course dates, allowing interested families to stay informed about upcoming opportunities.
The course takes place at Settlement Roasting Collective, a local coffee roasting warehouse located in Somerton Park. This venue offers an authentic coffee environment where teens can learn in a real-world setting.
