What to Expect
Experience a vibrant and engaging school holiday program designed especially for young people aged 10 to 17. The Cockburn Youth Centre offers a variety of creative, active, and social activities that encourage skill-building, friendship, and fun. From crafting and gaming to sports and music lessons, there’s something for every interest.
Each day brings a new adventure, whether it’s building wooden models, designing your own t-shirt, or stepping into a thrilling RPG quest. The program is free, but spaces are limited, so booking ahead is essential.

Activity Details
The program runs from 6 July to 18 July 2026, with activities scheduled throughout the day. Highlights include:
- Build Club: Construct wooden models and Lego sets
- Creative workshops like iron-on tees and custom shoe art
- RPG adventures guided by a professional Dungeon Master
- Music lessons including keyboard and drums
- Tournaments for Tekken, Mario Kart, and ping pong
- Sports activities such as pickleball and laser tag
- Board games and social hangouts
- Barista basics for coffee enthusiasts
All equipment is provided except where noted (e.g., bring your own t-shirt for iron-on tees). Sessions vary in length, typically between 1 to 6 hours.
Location and Access
All activities take place at the Cockburn Youth Centre, located at 25 Wentworth Parade, Success, WA 6164. The venue is accessible and equipped with facilities such as secure lockers and a fridge for personal belongings.
The Youth Centre is a community hub designed to be inclusive and welcoming, with a range of recreational equipment available during hangout times, including basketballs, gaming consoles, and more.
Parents can easily drop off and pick up their children, knowing they are in a safe and supportive environment.
Important Information
Membership to the Youth Centre is free but mandatory for participation in programs. Bookings are required for all activities and can be made online once membership is completed.
Participants should come prepared with lunch, although some programs may provide food. The Centre enforces a strict code of conduct to ensure a respectful and safe space for all, including zero tolerance for violence, racism, sexism, drugs, or alcohol.
The program is designed for young people turning 10 up to 17 years old during the month of July 2026. Older youth aged 18-24 can access other Youth Diversity Inc. programs.
Booking and Prices
All programs are free of charge. To participate, young people must first become members by completing a membership form online. Once registered, bookings for individual activities can be made through the Youth Centre’s online portal.
