What to Expect
Experience an exciting and dynamic school holiday program designed especially for young people aged 10 to 17. This free Youth MMA Challenge offers a unique blend of mixed martial arts training, fitness activities, and personal development sessions led by former 4-time Australian MMA Champion Kitt Campbell.
Participants will engage in age-appropriate training covering the fundamentals of boxing, kickboxing, and MMA. Alongside physical activities, the program includes interactive mentoring focused on building confidence, resilience, goal setting, emotional wellbeing, and positive decision-making.
This program is perfect for beginners and experienced youth alike, providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment to stay active, develop new skills, and foster positive connections.
Activity Details
The Youth MMA Challenge runs over three sessions during the school holidays, each lasting three hours from 10:00 to 13:00. The sessions are scheduled for Monday 28 September, Wednesday 30 September, and Friday 2 October 2026.
Each session combines structured MMA training with group challenges and mentoring discussions. The program encourages participants to grow both physically and mentally, promoting holistic development.
No prior experience is necessary, making this an inclusive opportunity for all interested young people.
Location and Access
The program takes place at the House of Stoush Boxing Academy, located at 14B Enterprise Way, Wallan VIC 3756. This venue is well-equipped for martial arts training and provides a welcoming atmosphere for youth activities.
Wallan is accessible by car and public transport, with parking available nearby. The location ensures a convenient and safe environment for families and participants.
Important Information
This is a free program, and registrations are open now. Young people can either register online or simply attend on the day of the sessions.
The program is designed to be inclusive and supportive, catering to all skill levels and encouraging positive social interaction.

Booking and Prices
Participation in the Youth MMA Challenge is completely free of charge.
Bookings can be made online through the Mitchell Shire Council website, but walk-ins on the day are also welcome.
