Step into a vibrant workshop where creativity knows no bounds. Led by renowned Australian fashion designer Gary Bigeni, this event invites queer youth aged 12-18 to express themselves through the art of tote bag making. Whether you prefer bold, bright designs or subtle, minimalist styles, this workshop welcomes all approaches.
You'll have access to a wide array of fabrics, colors, and textures to mix and match as you please. No prior experience is needed, so feel free to experiment, follow your instincts, or simply observe until you're ready to dive in.
This is a supportive, inclusive environment designed to foster self-expression and confidence through hands-on creativity.
During this two-hour session, participants will design and create a unique tote bag that reflects their personal style. Gary Bigeni, known for his passion for helping young people express themselves, will guide you through the process.
You can cut, layer, and combine materials in any way that feels right to you. The workshop encourages freedom of expression—there is no right or wrong way to create.
By the end of the session, you'll take home a one-of-a-kind tote bag that is truly your own.
