Enjoy a warm Welcome to Country by Aunty Barbara Simms-Keeley, followed by a Smoking Ceremony and Traditional Dance performed by Wambuul. Engage in hands-on workshops including Bushfood Cooking with Koori Kinnections and Weaving with Shalah Johnson. Watch the 3Bridges Cultural Connections Live Artwork come to life throughout the day.
The day also features fun activities like Bubble Soccer, a sausage sizzle hosted by the Lions Club, and delicious treats including coffee, bubble tea from Bubble Bar, and chips on a stick. There’s something for everyone to enjoy in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
This community-led event is designed for families and people of all ages to come together and learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The activities are interactive and educational, perfect for school-aged children and their parents looking to immerse themselves in cultural experiences.
The event runs from 10:00 to 14:00, providing ample time to explore all the offerings at a comfortable pace. No prior bookings are required, making it easy to drop in and enjoy the festivities.
