Activity Details
The event is split into three sessions by age groups to tailor the experience:
- Session 1: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM for 5 & 6 year olds
- Session 2: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM for 7 & 8 year olds
- Session 3: 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM for children 8 years and older
The workshop will be held under the Helene Park undercroft, providing shelter in case of light rain, so the fun goes on regardless of mild weather conditions. Parents or guardians must remain on site during the sessions.
Registrations are essential and limited to ensure quality and safety. Non-residents of City of Ryde may incur a small fee. Please communicate any medical or support needs when registering to ensure appropriate care.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Helene Park, Bowden Street, Meadowbank NSW 2112. The meeting point is under the park’s undercroft area, which offers shelter and a smooth surfaced path for easy access.
Parking is limited on the street, but disability parking spaces are available nearby. The venue is accessible to all participants, including those with mobility challenges.
Helene Park is a welcoming community space perfect for outdoor sports activities, located conveniently in Meadowbank with easy access from surrounding suburbs.

Safety and inclusivity are priorities. Parents must disclose any relevant medical, physical, intellectual, social, or emotional conditions to help provide the best support for their child. A responsible adult must be present during the sessions.
Bookings are first-come, first-served, and cancellations should be made promptly via the Bookable platform to allow others to participate. Repeated no-shows may affect future booking privileges.
Photos may be taken during the event and used for City of Ryde promotions. The program is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with support available upon request.
Booking and Prices
All sessions are free for City of Ryde residents, making it an affordable way to keep kids active and engaged during school holidays. Non-residents are charged a $5 fee per session.
Bookings must be made online through the Bookable platform. Walk-ins are accepted if space allows but are not guaranteed, and non-resident walk-ins must pay on the day.
Please ensure you have your tickets ready for scanning upon arrival and cancel if you cannot attend to avoid penalties.
