What to Expect
Dive into a fun and creative workshop inspired by the fascinating Bloodsuckers: Nature's Vampires exhibition. Led by paleo-artist and scientific illustrator Celia Curtis, children will explore the art of ink splattering and scientific drawing to create their own unique bloodsucker artwork. This is a perfect opportunity for young artists to experiment with shapes and textures while learning about nature's most intriguing blood-feeders.
While the ink dries, participants will enjoy an exclusive sneak peek of the Bloodsuckers exhibition, getting up close with creatures like leeches, ticks, and mosquitoes. This hands-on experience combines art and science in an engaging way that will captivate children aged 5 to 16.
The workshop is divided into age-appropriate sessions to ensure each child receives tailored guidance and inspiration.
