What to Expect
Put on your walking shoes and bring your camera to this engaging four-week Active Photography Program. Each week, participants will explore different parts of the town, capturing mindful photos of the scenery and public art. This event encourages slowing down, being present, and appreciating the beauty around you through your own unique perspective.
Whether you are a seasoned photographer or a beginner, this program offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about light, composition, and content to create beautiful photographs. Professional photographer Adele Miles will provide expert guidance to help you operate your camera with confidence.
Participants should bring their own cameras, including digital SLRs, point-and-shoots, phone cameras, or film cameras. Limited spots are available, so booking is essential. This event welcomes all ages.

The program runs over four Sundays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, starting on April 12, 2026, and concluding on May 3, 2026. Each session involves a walking tour through different locations within the town, focusing on mindful photography and artistic appreciation.
The cost for all sessions is $32, making it an affordable way to engage in a creative and physical activity that benefits mental health and encourages youth participation.
This event is part of the Town's Arts Season and includes elements of general physical activity, mental health awareness, and community engagement.
