Unleash your child’s creativity with Craftenly's Air-Dry Clay Workshop designed especially for young artists aged 5 to 10. This fun, screen-free activity encourages children to sculpt, shape, and personalise their own masterpieces using non-toxic, eco-friendly clay. It’s a perfect way to engage your child in artistic expression while developing fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities.
The workshop is led by an expert clay artist who guides the children through theme-based crafting projects. All materials are provided, so participants just need to bring their smiles and excitement for some creative fun. Carers are welcome to join and enjoy the experience alongside their little ones.
Photos and videos may be taken during the event and shared on the library's and Council's communication channels, including social media and eNewsletters. Please inform staff if you prefer not to be photographed or filmed.
This workshop is tailored for children aged 5 to 10 years old. Children outside this age range will not be permitted to participate, ensuring age-appropriate activities and a safe environment. The session runs for one hour, providing ample time for hands-on crafting and creative exploration.
The clay used is air-dry, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly, making it safe and easy to use without the need for kilns or ovens. This workshop supports artistic development and offers a wonderful opportunity for children to express themselves through tactile creativity.
The workshop takes place at Concord Library, located within the City of Canada Bay Council area. The library is easily accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming community space for families. Parking and directions can be found on the City of Canada Bay website or by contacting the library directly.
Carers are encouraged to attend with their children, making it a shared creative experience. The venue is family-friendly and provides a comfortable environment for both children and adults.
The event is scheduled for 10 April 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in and prepare for the workshop. All materials are provided, so there is no need to bring anything except enthusiasm.
