Step into a lively disco-themed celebration where the streets of Bourke Street come alive with music, dance, and dazzling performances. This event promises an evening filled with high-energy entertainment, interactive workshops, and fabulous roving acts that will captivate the whole family.

The festival officially launches on Friday 23 October from 17:00 to 22:00. Highlights include a waacking dance showcase by Dancekool, a Disco Never Dies workshop exploring disco history and dance techniques, and a live performance by Kaleidoscope Dreams playing classic disco hits.
Roving entertainment features roller skaters, colourful dancers, and the Disco Bubble Girls with giant floating bubbles. Drag artists Joyce Maynge, El Beauty, and Gogo Bumhole add sparkle and fabulousness throughout the evening.
Additional activities include an LED hula hoop workshop, free tarot readings, and a Roving Glam Bar for a touch of sparkle. The night culminates with illuminated disco performers in neon costumes and DJs keeping the dancefloor alive.
The event takes place at Taylor Square, Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010. This central location is easily accessible by public transport and offers a vibrant urban setting perfect for an outdoor street party.
The Progress Pride Crossing will be transformed into the main stage and dancefloor, creating an inclusive space celebrating diversity and community spirit.
