Join us for an exciting after school series that blends traditional literacy skills with creative expression. This unique program invites children to connect with popular stories by creating themed artworks, fostering both imagination and a love of reading.
Children will explore stories together and express their understanding through mixed media art projects. Each session encourages creativity and results in a unique piece of artwork to take home. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to develop literacy and artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment.
The program runs on Thursday, 26 March 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 at Penshurst Library. It is designed for children under 16, with parents or guardians required to stay in the library during the session. Spaces are limited, so early booking is essential to secure a spot.
The event takes place at Penshurst Library, located at 630 Forest Road, Penshurst. The library is committed to inclusivity and accessibility, welcoming all participants and providing support as needed. For specific accessibility requirements, please contact the library in advance.
Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may lose their place to those on the standby list. If you cannot attend, cancel your booking at least three hours before the event to allow others to participate. The library does not endorse any products used in the workshop.
This event is free of charge. Due to limited spaces, bookings are essential and can be made via the library's booking system. Parents are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment and ensure their child's participation.
