Australia’s biggest Halloween festival returns to The Rocks, Sydney, transforming the historic streets into a haunted playground full of excitement and spooky delights. This event promises a unique Halloween experience for families and friends alike, set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
Prepare for an immersive Halloween celebration featuring giant tentacles spilling from buildings, six-metre spiders lurking in laneways, and familiar corners glowing with lights and Halloween mischief. Enjoy themed bars, Halloween food and drinks, live music, DJs, markets, and roaming performers that bring the festival to life.
The festival runs from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, every day from 16:00 to 23:00. On Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, George Street and the Overseas Passenger Terminal close to traffic from 19:00 to 24:00, expanding the festival space. The event is free to attend, making it accessible for families and groups looking for a fun and spooky night out.
Held at The Rocks Square, The Rocks, Sydney NSW 2000, the festival is easily accessible by public transport and offers a vibrant atmosphere in one of Sydney’s most historic precincts.
