Babies Love Books in Japanese is a delightful monthly program designed especially for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or carers. This engaging session features Japanese picture books, music, rhymes, and traditional children's songs to introduce little ones to the beauty of the Japanese language and culture.
Each gathering offers a warm, interactive environment where families can bond while enjoying stories and songs together. The program is held every 4th Monday of the month, except during school and public holidays, ensuring a consistent and welcoming routine for your child.
Come prepared to sing, move, and explore Japanese language through fun activities that stimulate early literacy and cultural appreciation.
This program runs monthly on the 4th Monday from 11:45 to 12:15, providing a perfect mid-morning activity for young children and their caregivers. It is free to attend but requires booking for each session to secure your place.
Please note that the session on 27 April 2026 is cancelled due to a public holiday. Bookings are essential and must be made online through Eventbrite for every session you wish to attend.
The program is suitable for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or carers. All children must be supervised by an adult, and all attendees need to be booked in advance.
The sessions take place at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre on Belmore Road, Randwick.
