What to Expect
Becoming a parent for the first time is a joyful yet challenging journey. Baby Makes 3 is designed to support couples as they navigate the changes that come with a new baby. This program focuses on fostering respectful, equal partnerships and strengthening communication between parents.
The workshop welcomes babies, allowing both parents to attend together in a relaxed, inclusive environment. A light supper is provided to make the evening comfortable and enjoyable.
Activity Details
The program consists of two interactive evening sessions, each running from 17:30 to 19:30. Sessions are facilitated by trained male and female co-leaders who guide discussions and activities that help parents share childcare and household responsibilities more equally.
Participants will build skills to maintain healthy relationships and support each other through the transition to parenthood. Workshops require a minimum of three sets of parents to proceed, and custom workshops can be arranged for groups with flexible dates and venues.
Location and Access
Workshops are held at either the Coolbellup Hub or the Cockburn Health and Community facility in Success, Western Australia. Exact venue details are provided upon registration.
Both locations are accessible, with features such as in-map voice and accessible colour choices to assist attendees. The addresses are:
- Cockburn Health and Community, 11 Wentworth Parade, Success, WA 6164
- Coolbellup Hub, 90 Cordelia Ave, Coolbellup, WA 6163
