What to Expect
Experience a heartwarming bilingual session designed especially for babies up to 12 months and their carers. This unique program invites families to enjoy songs, stories, and a translated tour in both Nepali and English, fostering early language skills and cultural connection.
Linked to the exhibition ‘Woven from a hundred flowers: Celebrating our Nepalese community’, this is the first time the popular Baby Explorers program is offered in Nepali, making it a special occasion for Nepali-speaking families and those eager to learn together.
The welcoming atmosphere encourages interaction and learning, making it a perfect outing for parents wanting to introduce their little ones to new languages and cultural stories.
Activity Details
The session runs monthly and is tailored for babies up to 12 months and their carers. It includes:
- Engaging songs and stories in Nepali and English
- A translated tour linked to the Nepalese community exhibition
- Opportunities to learn simple Nepali words alongside your baby
Please note that due to class size restrictions, only the targeted age group is permitted, and siblings outside this range cannot attend.

Bookings are essential and can be made by calling (02) 9330 6444 or online. There are no refunds for cancellations or missed bookings, and program swapping is not permitted.
The program is fully supervised by qualified staff, and while precautions are taken, participation is at your own risk. Photography and video recordings may occur for promotional use; please notify staff if you prefer not to be filmed.
Children must meet the age requirements, and the program is designed specifically for babies up to 12 months.

The cost is $5.25 per adult participant, with babies attending free of charge.
