This free event runs on Saturday 11 April 2026 from 08:00 to 09:30. It will be led by Dr Rochelle Steven, a passionate local bird expert and Associate Dean of Engagement at Murdoch University. The session includes guided birdwatching and educational insights about the importance of local habitats.
Participants should wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing a water bottle is advised to stay hydrated during the walk.
Registration is essential, and priority is given to City of Vincent residents. Please book one ticket per attendee.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Warndoolier, located at 60 Joel Terrace, Mt Lawley. Formerly known as Banks Reserve, this area offers easy access to diverse bird habitats along the Swan River.
The location is suitable for families and provides a safe, accessible environment for children to explore nature. Parking and public transport options are available nearby.
