The event features a friendly tournament with 5 point matches in a single elimination format, starting promptly after registration. Registration begins at 12:00 with the tournament kicking off at 12:30. The event runs until 16:00 and is open to anyone who knows how to play backgammon. Beginners are encouraged to watch and take advantage of free lessons offered during social games. While there is no entry fee or cash prize, optional side pools of $20 and $50 are available for interested players.
Held at Hazelbrook Bowling Club, located on Bonnie View Avenue, Hazelbrook, the venue is easily accessible and family-friendly. The club also features Seared Dining bistro, open for lunch until 14:30 and reopening for dinner at 17:00, perfect for grabbing a bite before or after the games.
