Add some sparkle to your reading life with our Book Bedazzling workshop designed for kids aged 10 and over. This hands-on craft session invites participants to personalise their own book covers using craft glue and sparkling rhinestones. Bring along your favourite book from home and watch it transform into a unique, eye-catching treasure.
This fun and relaxed environment celebrates creativity, self-expression, and the joy of reading. No prior crafting experience is needed, and all materials are supplied. Library staff will be on hand to guide and inspire throughout the session.
During the workshop, participants will learn simple yet effective techniques to bedazzle their book covers. This activity encourages fine motor skills and fosters a positive connection to books and libraries. It’s perfect for tweens and teens who enjoy crafts, reading, or trying something new.
Finished creations can be taken home to treasure or used to make your current read stand out on your bookshelf. The session runs for 1.5 hours, providing plenty of time to create and have fun.
