What to Expect
Bop 2 Books is a delightful weekly program designed especially for toddlers aged 24 to 36 months and their parents or carers. Each session features engaging rhymes, music, and stories that encourage early literacy and bonding in a fun and welcoming environment. This is a perfect opportunity for your little one to develop language skills and social interaction.
Sessions run every Tuesday throughout the year, except during school and public holidays, ensuring consistent weekly fun and learning. The program is tailored to keep toddlers entertained and engaged with age-appropriate activities that stimulate their imagination and curiosity.
Activity Details
The sessions take place every Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM until June 30, 2026, at the Margaret Martin Library. Bookings are essential and open one week in advance, with limited places to ensure a quality experience for all participants. Please note that latecomers will not be admitted to maintain the flow and enjoyment of the session.
There is a strict limit of one session per child per week across all Randwick library branches. The event is free, but you must book each session you wish to attend via Eventbrite. Some dates when the event will not run include April 14, April 21, July 7, July 14, December 22, and December 29.
Location and Access
The program is held at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick. The venue is easily accessible and committed to inclusivity and accessibility.
Parents are encouraged to leave prams at home due to limited space. If you have any access requirements, the library staff are happy to assist – just reach out via email or phone to discuss your needs. Arriving 10 minutes early is recommended to ensure a smooth start.
Important Information
This event is for library members only, but membership is free and can be obtained online or at any branch. Only children attending the activity and their siblings need to be booked in. All children must be supervised by a parent or carer throughout the session.
Please cancel your booking if you cannot attend to allow others to participate. The library reserves the right to cancel tickets without notice and will not admit late arrivals for safety and enjoyment reasons.
Photography or video recordings may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your or your child's image to be used, please notify staff before the session begins.
