What to Expect

It is designed primarily for adults, but children over 12 who can remain still and quiet are also welcome.

Activity Details
The workshop runs for 2.5 hours and is available on select weekends from 21 February to 24 May 2026. Each day offers two sessions at 10:30 and 14:00. Due to the nature of the workshop, late admissions are not permitted.
Tickets grant access to one full 150-minute session. The workshop is led by Milan Dhiiyaan, who brings deep cultural knowledge and experience to the practice.

Location and Access
The workshop is held at the Australian Museum, located at 1 William Street, Sydney NSW 2010. Specifically, sessions take place in the Lower Ground Patricia McDonald Education Rooms.
The museum is easily accessible by public transport and offers free general entry. It is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, making it convenient to combine your meditation experience with a visit to the museum’s exhibitions.

Important Information
This workshop is mainly designed for adults, but children over 12 years old who can sit quietly are welcome. The session requires participants to be present from the start; late arrivals cannot be admitted.

Tickets are priced at $145 for non-members and $116 for members of the Australian Museum. Each ticket covers one session lasting 2.5 hours.
