Engaging LEGO® themed workshops for children aged 5 and up during the July school holidays.


Join us for an exciting series of LEGO® themed school holiday workshops designed to inspire creativity and engineering skills in children aged 5 and above. These workshops are perfect for middle-aged parents looking for fun, educational activities to keep their school-aged children engaged during the holidays.

What to Expect

Each workshop offers a unique theme ranging from Extreme Ninjas inspired by LEGO Ninjago, to Brick City Engineers building towering skyscrapers, to the imaginative world of Minecraft crafting. Children will use LEGO® bricks, technic pieces, gears, and motors to build dynamic models. The workshops encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving in a supportive environment.

Activity Details

The workshops run from 9:00 to 16:00 with options for two-day or one-day sessions. Themes include:

- Extreme Ninjas: Monday 2024-07-08 to Tuesday 2024-07-09

- Brick City Engineers: Thursday 2024-07-11 to Friday 2024-07-12

- Wizards & Witchcraft: Wednesday 2024-07-10 (one day)

- Mining & Crafting inspired by Minecraft: Monday 2024-07-15 to Tuesday 2024-07-16

- Remote Control Mania: Thursday 2024-07-18 to Friday 2024-07-19

Each workshop is designed for children aged 5 and older, with a maximum of 24 participants to ensure quality supervision and engagement.

Location and Access

Workshops are held at Sherbrooke Hall, located on the ground floor of the Hugh Latimer Centre at 512 New South Head Road, Double Bay. Entry is via Sherbrooke Avenue. The venue is easily accessible and provides a safe and welcoming environment for children.

Important Information

Please ensure your child brings a nut-free snack and lunch if attending the full day. Covered shoes, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended as outdoor breaks are supervised. Children must be at least in kindergarten to attend. If your child is unwell on the day, please keep them home; make-up classes are available subject to availability. Workshops may be cancelled if minimum registration numbers are not met.

Booking and Prices

Bookings are confirmed upon payment via a secure online credit card gateway. Two-day workshops cost $220, and one-day workshops cost $120. Refunds are available with conditions: 80% refund if cancelled three weeks before, 50% refund if cancelled two to three weeks before, and no refund if cancelled less than two weeks prior to the workshop start date. Spaces are limited to 24 children per workshop, so early booking is recommended.
