Step into a world of magic and fun with your little ones at Budding Bookworms. This engaging event is perfect for preschool aged children (3-5 years) who love stories, songs, and creative play. Enjoy lively sing-alongs, rhymes, wiggly dances, and crafts that spark imagination and joy.
The sessions are presented by passionate Garden volunteers in partnership with Wollongong City Libraries, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child while fostering a love of books and nature.
The event takes place on Fridays near the Garden's Japanese Tea House, just west of the Rose Garden, starting at 10:00 am and lasting about 45 minutes. No bookings are required, making it easy to drop in and enjoy whenever you can.
In case of bad weather, the event may be moved to the Towri Centre deck or cancelled, with updates posted on the Wollongong Botanic Garden Facebook page. This flexibility ensures a comfortable experience regardless of the weather.
