The sessions are lively and interactive, ensuring your child stays engaged and entertained throughout. Volunteers from the Garden, in partnership with Wollongong City Libraries, bring these activities to life with warmth and enthusiasm.

This free event is held on Fridays near the Garden's Japanese Tea House, just west of the Rose Garden. Each session runs from 10:00 to 10:45 in the morning, making it an ideal mid-morning outing.
The activities are tailored for children aged 3 to 5 years, focusing on early literacy and movement through stories and songs. No bookings are required, so you can drop in spontaneously.
In case of bad weather, the event may be relocated to the Towri Centre deck or cancelled, with updates posted on the Wollongong Botanic Garden Facebook page.
The event takes place at Wollongong Botanic Garden, located at 40 Murphys Avenue, Keiraville. The garden is open daily from 7am to 5pm, providing ample time to explore before or after the activity.
