Step into a world of magic and fun with your little ones at Budding Bookworms. This delightful event is designed especially for preschool-aged children, offering a joyful mix of stories, sing-alongs, rhymes, wiggly dances, and creative crafts. It’s a perfect way to spark your child's imagination and love for books in a beautiful garden setting.
Enjoy a lively and interactive experience that encourages early literacy and social skills. The friendly garden volunteers lead the activities with warmth and enthusiasm, making every session a memorable adventure for families.
The event runs on Fridays starting at 10:00 AM and lasts approximately 45 minutes. It is held near the Garden's Japanese Tea House, west of the Rose Garden, providing a serene and inspiring backdrop for storytelling and play.
This activity is free of charge and no bookings are required, making it easy for families to drop in and join the fun. In case of bad weather, the event may be relocated to the Towri Centre deck or cancelled, with updates posted on the Wollongong Botanic Garden Facebook page.
