Step into a world of imagination and fun with Budding Bookworms, a delightful event designed especially for preschool-aged children (3-5 years). This engaging session features enchanting stories, lively sing-alongs, rhymes, wiggly dances, and creative crafts that will captivate your little ones.
Held in the serene setting near the Garden's Japanese Tea House, this event offers a perfect blend of nature and storytelling to spark your child's love of books and creativity. It's a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to connect and enjoy quality time together.
Presented by dedicated Garden volunteers in partnership with Wollongong City Libraries, this free activity promises smiles and joyful learning in a welcoming community atmosphere.
The event takes place on Fridays starting at 10:00 am and runs for approximately 45 minutes. It is tailored for families with preschool children aged 3 to 5 years, making it an ideal outing to nurture early literacy and social skills.
No bookings are required, allowing for spontaneous visits and easy access. In case of bad weather, the event may be relocated to the Towri Centre deck or cancelled, with updates posted on the Wollongong Botanic Garden Facebook page.
