Activity Details
Busy Bookworms runs every Thursday from 10:45 to 11:15 AM, excluding school holidays and public holidays, until April 2, 2026. The event is free but requires booking for each session you wish to attend. Bookings open one week in advance and places are strictly limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
Please note the event will not run on the following dates: April 9, April 16, July 9, July 16, August 27 (Book Week special), October 1, October 8, December 17, December 24, and December 31. Only one session per child per week is allowed across library branches.
Latecomers will not be admitted to maintain a smooth and enjoyable session for everyone. Prams are discouraged due to limited space.

The sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, so if you have any access requirements, please contact the library to arrange support.
The venue is family-friendly and designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for toddlers and their caregivers. Parking and public transport options are available nearby.
Arrive 10 minutes early to allow the session to start on time and to settle your child comfortably.
Important Information
Bookings are essential and must be made via Eventbrite, an external booking platform. If you experience any issues booking, contact the library directly at 02 9093 6400 or via email. Only children with valid tickets can attend, and all children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver.
Membership to Randwick City Library is required but free and can be completed online or at any branch. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking promptly to free up space for others.
