You’ll learn tent assembly basics, enjoy a fully catered BBQ dinner and continental breakfast, and participate in a unique bat watching experience at sunset. The evening continues with a guided spotlight tour of nocturnal wildlife and an authentic campfire with s’mores and stories.
Activity Details
Each month features a special themed activity for families: raft races in March, bushcraft skills in April, stargazing with Sydney City Skywatchers in May, shelter building in September, spooky storytelling in October, and arts & crafts with rangers in November. The program encourages running, jumping, and playing in the outdoor classroom, making it perfect for active kids.
Location and Access
The event is held at Centennial Park, Grand Drive, Centennial Park NSW 2021, just 10 minutes from Sydney CBD. The park is easily accessible by car and public transport, and participants are asked to bring their own tents and sleeping arrangements.
