What to Expect

Activity Details
The Chess Club meets every Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM during April 2026, specifically on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. Each session includes a 10-minute arrival and a 10-minute pack-up time within the hour.
The club welcomes children aged 7 and above, and guardians of children under 12 are required to stay on-site during the sessions. Library membership is recommended and free for all attendees.
Registration is required, with a limit of one registration per day for multi-session programs. The club is committed to maintaining a respectful and positive environment for all participants.

The Chess Club sessions take place at Whitlam Library Cabramatta, located at 165 Railway Parade, Cabramatta, NSW 2166. The library is accessible and family-friendly, providing a comfortable setting for the event.

Important Information
Guardians must remain on the premises for the duration of the program if their children are under 12 years old, and must be at least 16 years old themselves. The club enforces a strict policy against inappropriate behavior to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Photography may occur during the event for promotional purposes; attendees can notify staff if they do not consent.
In case of illness or COVID-19 symptoms, attendees are asked to refrain from participating to protect everyone's health.
