Children's Storytime at Town Hall Gallery offers a delightful family art experience that sparks imagination and nurtures early literacy skills. Perfectly suited for children aged 3 to 5 years, this event combines storytelling, music, and hands-on creative activities to inspire a love of reading and self-expression.

This event takes place on the first Tuesday of each month from 11:00 to 12:00. Registrations are required for all attendees aged 12 months and over to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult or caregiver throughout the session. Note that Storytime does not run during school holidays or public holidays.
The event is held at Town Hall Gallery, located within the Hawthorn Arts Centre at 360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn VIC 3122. The gallery is accessible Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 12 pm to 4 pm, providing a comfortable and welcoming space for families to explore art and storytelling.
This Storytime is part of the Art+ program, which offers a variety of creative events including artist talks, film screenings, workshops, and live music. The program aims to provide new and exciting ways to experience the gallery. Please ensure you register in advance as spaces are limited, and remember that children must be supervised at all times.
