What to Expect

Toddler Time offers a delightful and interactive environment where your little ones aged 12 months to 3 years can play, learn, and socialize with peers. These sessions are designed to nurture early literacy and communication skills through fun activities and storytelling.

Parents and caregivers will enjoy watching their toddlers engage with stories, songs, and simple crafts that stimulate imagination and language development. It’s a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joy of books and group interaction.

This is a perfect weekly outing for parents seeking a supportive community space for their toddlers to grow and explore.

Activity Details

Sessions run every Monday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM starting February 3, 2026, through June 22, 2026, excluding school holidays. Each session lasts 30 minutes, providing a compact and engaging experience suitable for young attention spans.

Please register a place for every attendee aged 12 months and over to ensure a spot. For group bookings of more than 10 children, contact the library directly.

Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult or caregiver at all times during the session.

Location and Access

The sessions are held at Kew Library, located at the corner of Cotham Road and Civic Drive, Kew VIC 3101. From March, due to library renovations, children’s programs will move to the nearby Kew Court House.

Both venues are accessible by public transport and have parking options nearby. The welcoming environment is designed to be safe and comfortable for toddlers and their families.

Important Information

Please note that Storytime sessions do not run during school holidays. Check the School Holiday Activities page for other events across Boroondara.

Ensure your child is supervised throughout the session, and register early as spots can fill quickly.
