What to Expect

This series is ideal for parents looking for a creative outlet or a peaceful break during the day, with sessions conveniently scheduled around lunchtime.
Activity Details
The sessions run every Wednesday from 12:00 to 14:00, starting on April 1, 2026, and continuing through to July 8, 2026. You can attend as many sessions as you like, making it easy to fit into your schedule.
Each session is free to attend and open to all RMIT students, staff, and anyone living, working, or visiting Merri-bek. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your current project or start something new.
The event is part of the collaborative 'Circular Campus to Community' project between RMIT University and Merri-bek City Council, focusing on creativity and community engagement.
Location and Access
The sessions take place at 25 Dawson Street, Brunswick, a location accessible by public transport and with nearby parking options. The venue is welcoming and inclusive, suitable for all abilities.
Brunswick is a vibrant suburb with plenty of local cafes and shops, making it easy to combine your visit with other errands or a casual lunch.
The venue is on Woi-wurrung Country, and the organisers respectfully acknowledge the Traditional custodians of the land, welcoming all community members to participate.
Important Information
Please register to attend each session to help organisers manage numbers and refreshments. Sessions are designed to be calm and collaborative, so participants are encouraged to respect the shared creative space.
Light refreshments are provided, but feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks if preferred.
