What to Expect
Immerse yourself in a unique sensory workshop where creativity meets memory and texture. Over two hours, you will craft a small personal curtain using hessian or scrim panels, stitched and woven with threads and objects that hold meaning for you. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a keepsake to inspire your creation.
This workshop encourages you to explore making through sensation and memory, resulting in a finished piece that is both tactile and personal. It’s a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with materials, and express yourself in a supportive environment.
Students can enjoy discounted access, and all necessary fabrics, threads, tools, and embellishments will be provided. You are invited to bring a small found object, picture, or natural item to incorporate into your curtain.
