Step into a vibrant community event where fashion meets sustainability. Coast Swap invites you to bring your gently used clothes and exchange them for new-to-you pieces, promoting a circular fashion economy and reducing textile waste.
This event is powered by enthusiastic youth volunteers who lead the planning and running of the swap, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all ages. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, share style tips, and support young people in your community.
Whether you're a fashion lover or simply looking to refresh your wardrobe without spending, this clothes swap is a fun, eco-friendly way to do it.
Participants are encouraged to bring five to ten clean, good-quality garments or accessories in excellent condition. Items such as underwear, used pyjamas, socks, or overused workout gear are not accepted.
Upon arrival at 11:00, you will check in your items and receive tokens that serve as currency to select new pieces from the collective pool. The swap runs until 13:00, giving you ample time to browse and find your next favorite outfit.
This event is free to attend and open to everyone, with a special focus on youth empowerment through meaningful volunteering opportunities.
The event takes place at Gosford Regional Library, Level 1, 123A Donnison Street, Gosford NSW 2250. The library is centrally located and accessible by public transport and has parking nearby.
The venue is welcoming and family-friendly, making it easy to bring your children along for a fun and educational experience.
Please ensure all items you bring are clean, free of stains, rips, and missing buttons, and in a condition you would happily gift to a friend. This helps maintain the quality and enjoyment for all participants.
There is no guarantee that you will find the same number of items you bring, as the swap depends on the collective pool of donations.
The event supports cost-of-living challenges by offering a free way to refresh wardrobes sustainably.
This is a free event with no tickets required. Just bring your clothes and enthusiasm!
