Experience the joy of community gardening in the beautiful North Brighton urban pocket park. This event is perfect for families, seniors, and adults who want to contribute to local native plant diversity. You'll be planting alongside friendly volunteers and enjoying a fresh, healthy lunch made from community garden produce.
The morning promises a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can stay as long or as little as you like. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and your neighbors while helping the environment.
Bring your gardening gloves and a small hand trowel, and be ready to get your hands dirty in a fun and meaningful way.
The event starts at 10:30 and runs until 12:30 on Saturday, 27 June 2026. Please arrive by 10:15 for registration and a safety briefing. Volunteers will provide any additional tools needed.
Participants should wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes, and a hat or rain jacket depending on the weather. Safety or optical glasses are also recommended.
Children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. The event is free, but bookings are essential to ensure enough equipment is available.
