What to Expect
Dive into the fascinating world of terrariums where children aged 5 to 9 can create their own miniature ecosystems. Using small plants, stones, decorations, and tiny wingless insects called springtails, kids will learn how to build a self-sustaining environment inside a glass container.
This hands-on activity encourages creativity and curiosity about nature, perfect for young explorers eager to discover the magic of tiny worlds. Children will enjoy assembling their terrariums with provided materials while bringing their own clean glass container to personalize their creation.
Presented by the Willoughby City Bushland team in collaboration with Willoughby City Library, this event combines fun and education in a supportive setting.
