What to Expect
Immerse yourself in a unique workshop that begins with captivating stories shared by expert facilitators. This session offers thought-provoking, interactive activities designed to bring Koorie perspectives indoors and outdoors.
Children of all backgrounds will benefit from developing a deeper understanding, respect, and connection to Country through storytelling. The workshop aims to strengthen Koorie children's ties to their heritage while enriching educational outcomes for all.
A 30-minute break is included to allow participants to reflect and refresh.
Activity Details
This workshop is facilitated by April Clark and supported by the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated. It focuses on incorporating Koorie perspectives into pedagogy through storytelling and simple interactive exercises.
The session runs for two and a half hours, providing ample time for engagement and learning.
It is ideal for parents and educators interested in cultural heritage and inclusive education.
