What to Expect
Immerse your child in a creative adventure with Jess Harwood, a renowned illustrator and environmental communicator. This engaging session combines the joy of cartooning with the wonders of nature found in our streets, parks, and backyards. Children will be inspired to observe and draw the natural world around them in a fun and hands-on way.
The session is designed for children aged 7 to 11 and provides all the cartooning materials needed. It’s an indoor and outdoor experience, so kids will get to explore and create in different settings.
Parents are welcome to accompany their children throughout the session, ensuring a supportive and safe environment for young artists to flourish.
Activity Details
This 1 hour and 45 minutes workshop runs on Wednesday, April 15, from 10:15 am to 12:00 pm. It’s a perfect mid-morning activity that fits well into the school holiday schedule or a weekend plan.
Children will learn cartooning techniques while discovering the diverse flora and fauna in their local environment. The session encourages creativity, observation skills, and a deeper appreciation for nature.
