This engaging workshop invites young artists to experiment with watercolors and inks in a fun and unique way. Children will explore how different materials like sea salt, alcohol, and soap react with watercolors to create stunning textures. The session encourages creativity as students use these effects to inspire their artwork.
Using a special technique, each child will receive a watercolor sheet with a drop of paint placed by the instructor. The challenge is to manipulate the paint without touching it directly—tilting the paper, blowing on it, or using a straw to move the pigment around.
At the end of the session, children will use a black Sharpie to draw imaginative forms inspired by the shapes created by the paint, turning abstract patterns into monsters, animals, or other creative figures.
This workshop is designed for children aged 5 to 9 years old, perfect for school-aged kids looking to explore art in a playful environment. It runs for five hours, providing ample time for experimentation and creative expression.
Participants will be provided with all necessary materials, including watercolor sheets and paints. The instructor will guide the children through each step, ensuring a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.
This event is ideal for parents seeking an engaging and educational activity during school holidays or weekends, fostering artistic skills and imaginative thinking.
