Calling all little explorers and nature lovers! This engaging Eco Explorers Story Time series invites families to celebrate the natural wonders of our community. Each session features a special guest presenter, captivating stories, lively songs, and hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity about the environment. It’s a perfect way for parents and children to connect, learn, and explore together in a warm and welcoming setting.
What to Expect
Each session offers a unique theme: from the fascinating lifecycle of butterflies to the busy world of bees and the enchanting facts about frogs. Children will enjoy interactive storytelling, craft activities, and special presentations by experts. Highlights include stepping inside a butterfly tent, meeting a real beekeeper, and an educational frog presentation by SERCUL. These sessions are designed for children aged 3-5 years and encourage family participation.

The events take place at Gosnells Library, located at 2232 Albany Highway, Gosnells WA 6110. The library is conveniently situated within walking distance of shopping centres and the beautiful Centennial Park, making it easy for families to combine visits with other activities. Important Information
Parents must accompany children aged 12 and under at all times. The Busy Bees session includes live bees contained within educational hives, ensuring safety with no direct contact possible. Parents should notify staff of any allergies, especially if participating in honey tasting. Arriving early is recommended to secure a place as sessions have limited capacity. These events are free and designed to foster a love of nature and learning in young children.
Booking and Prices
There is no need to book in advance; however, due to limited spaces, tokens will be distributed starting 15 minutes before each session. Early arrival is encouraged to guarantee entry. All sessions are free of charge, making this an accessible and enjoyable option for families looking for educational and fun activities during the weekends.
