Froggy's Fun on the Green offers a delightful and free outdoor play experience designed especially for young children aged 0 to 5 years and their parents, grandparents, or carers. This mobile play session encourages fun, social interaction, and community connection in a safe and welcoming environment.
Enjoy two weekly sessions filled with engaging activities that stimulate your child's imagination and physical development. While the children play, parents and carers can connect with others, share experiences, and access helpful information and support. The sessions are designed to be relaxed and inclusive, making it easy for families to join in without prior booking.
Sessions run during school terms only, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Mondays are held at Manning Park, Azelia Road, Hamilton Hill, and Tuesdays at Meller Park, Hope Road, Bibra Lake. Please bring essentials such as a chair if needed, water bottles, hats, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Note that parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times, especially near the lake at Manning Park.
Manning Park sessions take place on the grassy banks to the right of the Azelia Ley Museum, while Meller Park sessions are opposite Blue Gum Montessori School. Both locations offer free parking, accessible toilets, first-aid facilities, and water refill stations. Accessibility features include accessible parking (ACROD) and toilets to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
No bookings are required; simply sign in upon arrival. Please do not attend if you or your child is unwell. Dogs are not permitted for safety reasons. Photography of children other than your own is not allowed. In case of bad weather, call 0467 713 447 to confirm if the session is proceeding, or check the City of Cockburn's Facebook page. The City accepts no liability for injury or loss during the program.
This is a free event with no need to book in advance. Just turn up and enjoy the fun and community spirit. Sessions are held only during school terms, starting from Monday, 2 February 2026, through 31 March 2026.
