What to Expect
Experience a moving and respectful ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground. This event is a meaningful way for families and community members to come together and honour the sacrifices of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women.
The service is organised by the Plympton Glenelg RSL and is suitable for all ages including children, seniors, and visitors. After the service, attendees are warmly invited to enjoy a gunfire breakfast at the nearby Plympton Glenelg RSL Subbranch.

Activity Details
The Dawn Service will commence promptly at 06:00 and conclude by 07:00 on Saturday, 25 April 2026. It is a free event open to residents, families, youth, seniors, multicultural groups, and visitors.
Participants should arrive early to secure a good spot at the Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground playground area. The event is outdoors, so dressing warmly and bringing a torch or flashlight is recommended.
Following the service, guests are invited to the gunfire breakfast held at the Plympton Glenelg RSL Subbranch located at 464 Marion Road, Plympton Park.
Location and Access
The service is held at Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Gardens, located at the corner of Raglan Avenue and Tower Terrace. This accessible outdoor venue is well-known within the community and easy to find.
Parking is available nearby, but attendees are encouraged to carpool or use public transport where possible due to early start times.
The adjacent playground area provides a family-friendly environment for children before and after the service.
