What to Expect

During the playgroup, you and your child will enjoy group time featuring songs, books, and engaging activities that encourage movement, play, and communication skills. You will have the chance to chat with the Plumtree team about your child's development and share ideas with other families. The beautiful outdoor setting of Jarvie Park offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Activity Details

The playgroup runs weekly on Mondays from 09:30 to 11:00, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. It is free to attend and welcomes grandparents and siblings as well. Sessions do not run on public holidays and may be cancelled due to rain, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, with updates provided via email and social media.

Location and Access

Meet us at Jarvie Park in Marrickville, between Plumtree and the playground area. The park is easily accessible and provides a safe and inviting space for children to explore and play. Directions and contact details are available for any assistance needed.

Important Information

This playgroup is funded through the NSW Department of Education Start Strong Pathways program and supported by the Inner West Council. If the program is full, families can join a waitlist and will be contacted when a place becomes available. The sessions are facilitated by Isa, an early childhood specialist, and Hesham, a physiotherapist, ensuring professional support throughout.

Booking and Prices
