Each month, gardeners who demonstrate creativity, sustainability, and environmental care are recognized with awards that highlight their hard work and passion. The program encourages all residents to participate and share their love of gardening.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, Fabulous Fairfield offers inspiration and a chance to be part of a community that values green spaces and environmental stewardship.
- Monthly awards are presented during Council meetings.
- Winners receive a $100 gift card, a potted plant from the Fairfield Community Nursery, and a framed Certificate of Achievement presented by the Mayor.
- At the end of the year, all monthly winners are entered into the Residential Garden of the Year Award competition.
- The annual award includes a $500 cheque, an ornamental plant, and a feature in the City Connect newsletter.
- Gardens are judged on sustainability, environmental impact, plant variety, presentation, and creativity.
