What to Expect
In this engaging workshop, your child will learn how to create their own fantasy creatures, monsters, and characters. They will explore favourite fantasy worlds and discover what makes them so exciting. The session encourages experimentation with magic, powers, and fantastical ideas, culminating in the creation of original fantasy stories and adventures.
Activity Details
This event requires no prior experience, making it accessible for all young writers. Participants only need to bring paper and pen. The workshop is led by Aylish Dowsett, an award-winning writer and tutor with extensive experience teaching creative writing. The session runs for two hours, providing ample time for creativity and learning.

The workshop takes place at South Hurstville Library, located at the corner of Short and Allen Streets, South Hurstville. The venue is committed to accessibility and inclusive services. Attendees are encouraged to communicate any support needs in advance via email.
