Fawkner Fastbreak offers a vibrant and welcoming environment where young people aged 12 to 18 can come together to play indoor sports like basketball and soccer. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to unwind after school, make new friends, and enjoy some active fun in a safe space.
At Fastbreak, the focus is on fun, teamwork, and participation—no prior experience is necessary. Friendly youth workers run the sessions, providing support and encouragement to keep the atmosphere positive and inclusive. Participants can also enjoy snacks during the session, making it a well-rounded after-school activity.

The sessions take place at Fawkner Community Sports Hall, located at 77 Jukes Road, Fawkner. The venue is easily accessible by public transport:
- Bus route 530 stops nearby on Minona Street/Jukes Road (about 81 meters away) and at Fawkner Leisure Centre/Jukes Road (about 200 meters away).
- Gowrie Station on the Upfield train line is approximately 1 km from the venue.
Please note the heat policy: if the weather reaches 28 degrees Celsius or above, the session will be cancelled for safety reasons. This ensures a comfortable and safe environment for all participants. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all skill levels, encouraging young people to have fun and be active.
