What to Expect

Activity Details
The storytimes are held monthly on Fridays at 11:00 AM, each featuring a different First Nations language:
- Yanyuwa with Ros Moriarty on 2026-05-29
- Noongar with Jade Goodwin on 2026-06-19
- Dhurag with Melissa-Jane Fogarty on 2026-07-31
These sessions last approximately one hour and are perfect for school-aged children and their parents looking to enrich their cultural knowledge and language appreciation.
For mothers' groups, preschools, or larger groups, advance email booking is recommended to ensure adequate space.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Stanton Library, located at 234 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060. The storytimes are held on the Lower Ground Floor.
Please note, due to lift maintenance starting June 2026, access to the Lower Ground Floor will require using one flight of stairs. This is important for families with strollers or mobility considerations.
The library is centrally located and accessible by public transport, making it convenient for families across the North Sydney area.
