Dive into the world of fishing with a hands-on workshop designed for those aged 12 and over. This event offers expert guidance on fishing responsibly in local waterways, including tips on best practices, ideal fishing spots, and how to handle native and introduced fish respectfully.
Participants will gain valuable knowledge on catch and release techniques and how to properly dispose of fishing-related litter, ensuring our waterways stay clean and healthy.
Bring your fishing gear or use some of the extra equipment provided, and enjoy a morning connecting with nature and learning new skills.
This workshop runs on Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00. It is hosted by trained fishing experts from the NSW Department of Primary Industries.
