What to Expect
Dive into a day of creativity and sustainability with the Flip Fashion Forever Holiday Workshop. This hands-on event invites young people aged 9 to 18 to explore sewing and upcycling in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you bring a thrifted garment or one from home, you’ll have the freedom to transform it your way.
Expect to experiment with cropping, reshaping, hand sewing, embellishing, or completely reinventing your clothing. There are no patterns or rules, just creative freedom encouraged by trained youth mentors who focus on exploration rather than perfection.
No prior sewing experience is needed. Sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques will be available to help you learn and create unique fashion pieces.
